Lopril Bosnalek tablets is used:
- in heart failure (as symptomatic treatment);
- in acute myocardial infarction (for short-term treatment of hemodynamically stable patients);
- in kidney side complications (nephropathy) in diabetes mellitus.
Description
Lopril Bosnalek tablets composition active ingredient: lisinopril;
1 tablet contains lisinopril (in the form of a dihydrate) 10 mg;
auxiliary substances: calcium hydrophosphate dihydrate, manite (E 421), corn starch, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, talc, silica colloidal anhydrous, yellow iron oxide E 172.

Pharmacological properties
It is an antihypertensive (blood pressure lowering) drug acting by inhibiting the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. It suppresses the influence of angiotensin converting enzyme, which catalyzes the transformation of angiotensin-I into the vasoconstrictor peptide angiotensin-II, preventing its stimulating effect on the release of aldosterone by the adrenal glands.
Indications
Lopril Bosnalek tablets is used:
- in heart failure (as symptomatic treatment);
- in acute myocardial infarction (for short-term treatment of hemodynamically stable patients);
- in kidney side complications (nephropathy) in diabetes mellitus.
Contraindications
You cannot use Lopril Bosnalek tablets:
- in component intolerance;
- in intolerance of other ACE inhibitors;
- in history of angioedema;
- in mitral/aortic stenosis or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with pronounced hemodynamic disorders;
- in bilateral stenosis of the renal artery (aa. renalis dextra et sinistra) or renal artery stenosis (a. renalis) of a single kidney;
- in cardiogenic shock;
- in acute myocardial infarction with unstable hemodynamics;
- at a blood creatinine level of 220 μmol/L or more;
- in pregnancy/lactation.
Children
There is limited experience in the safety and effectiveness of the drug for children. For the treatment of children, the drug is not used.
Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding
This medicine is contraindicated to pregnant women, as well as women planning a pregnancy. In the Bo II-III trimesters of pregnancy, the drug has fetotoxicity (causes a decrease in kidney function, delayed ossification of the skull, low water), neonatal toxicity (causes kidney failure, hyperkalemia, arterial hypotension). It is used in nursing mothers.
Method of use and doses
Lopril Bosnalek tablets is used orally (inside).
The dose prescribed by the doctor should be taken 1 times a day, daily at one time, regardless of food.
Standard initial dose – 2.5-10 mg, therapeutic dose – 20 mg, maximum – 80 mg.
Overdose
Symptoms: drop in blood pressure, vascular insufficiency, renal insufficiency, impaired electrolyte balance, hyperv, heartbeat sensation, tachycardia/bradycardia, dizziness, cough, anxiety.
It is necessary to take measures to remove the drug from the body (artificially cause vomiting or rinse the stomach, use sorbents, sodium sulfate). In case of overdose, administration of saline, angiotensin II and/or catecholamines is recommended.
It can be excreted by hemodialysis, while the use of metalosulfonate polyacrylonitrile high-pass membranes (AN69) should be avoided.
Side effects
Lymphadenopathy, bone marrow inhibition (anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, neutropenia) are possible, autoimmune diseases, hemolytic anemia, hypoglycemia, headache, paresthesia, mood changes, vertigo, taste disorders, sleep disorders, impaired sense of smell, confusion, depression, imbalance, syncope, disorientation, tinnitus, reduced visual acuity, arterial hypotension, fainting, orthostatic effects, myocardial infarction, stroke, heartbeat, Raynaud syndrome, tachycardia, AV blockade II, dry cough, bronchospasm, rhinitis, bronchitis, sinusitis, eosinophilic pneumonia/alveolitis, glossitis, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, nausea, pancreatitis, hepatocellular/cholestatic hepatitis, liver failure, rash, itching of the skin, alopecia, psoriasis, angioedema, urticaria, sweating, allergic dermatitis, pumphis, pseudo-polymphoma of the skin, polymorphic erythema, fever, arthralgia/arthritis, vasculitis, myalgia, ANA positive analysis, increased ESR, photosensitization, kidney dysfunction, uremia, impotence, OPN, oliguria/anuria, gynecomastia, fatigue, increased levels of urea/creatinine, liver enzymes, bilirubin in blood, proteinuria, hyperkalemia, hyponatremia.
