Macmiror Complex vaginal cream composition                                                                                                 active substances: nifuratel, nystatin;
100 g of cream contain: nifuratel 10 g, nystatin 4,000,000 IU;
excipients: xalifin 15; methyl parahydrooxybenzoate (E 218); propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216); glycerin; sorbitol solution that does not crystallize (E 420); propylene glycol; carbomer; triethanolamine; purified water.

Vaginal cream.

Pharmacological properties
The drug Macmiror Complex cream combines the active substances nifuratel and nystatin. Nifuratel is a chemical drug synthesized by the research laboratory POLI, capable of effectively destroying Trichomonas, bacteria and fungal microorganisms.
Nystatin is a well-known antifungal antibiotic that is effective in treating candidiasis.
The combination of the active substances nifuratel and nystatin causes high antifungal efficacy, destroys Trichomonas and bacteria, while the interaction of the two active substances has no negative consequences.
Moreover, the two drugs complement and enhance each other’s antifungal effects.

Indication
Complex therapy of vulvovaginal infections caused by drug-sensitive pathogens: bacteria, Trichomonas, fungi of the genus Candida.

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to other components of the medicinal product.

Children
The drug should not be used in children.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Macmiror Complex cream should not be used during pregnancy. Breast-feeding should be discontinued during treatment.

Method of application and dosage
Apply 2.5 g of vaginal cream 1 or 2 times a day, evening and / or morning.
The required dose of vaginal cream is administered using a syringe-dispenser.
The order of use of the syringe batcher
Screw the syringe-dispenser onto the tube of vaginal cream, press on the tube so that the required amount of cream enters the dispenser (see the marks indicating the number in grams).
Unscrew the syringe from the tube, insert the syringe into the vagina, pressing on the plunger of the syringe.
If necessary, you can detach the tip from the plunger and screw the tip to the other side of the syringe before inserting it into the vagina.
The plastic syringe is included in the package. After use, wash the syringe thoroughly for future use.
The duration of treatment with Macmiror Complex cream is determined by the doctor individually, usually the course of treatment is 8 days.

Overdose
There is no risk of overdose.

Side effects:

  • From the skin and subcutaneous tissue: very rare: due to the excipients methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216) may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed), including rash, itching, contact dermatitis, urticaria. May cause skin irritation due to propylene glycol excipient.
  • General disorders and administration site conditions: very rare: vaginal itching, burning.
  • From the immune system: frequency unknown: hypersensitivity reactions.

Expiration date
3 years. Shelf life after first opening 12 days.

Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC. Keep out of reach of children.
