Magnesium phosphoricum Dr. Schussler’s salt composition
active substance: 1 tablet contains Magnesium phosphoricum D6 250 mg (contains lactose monohydrate);
excipients: wheat starch, magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological properties
The described remedy Magnesium phosphoricum is a homeopathic remedy.
The normal state of cellular homeostasis is maintained by mineral salts. Disturbances in the functioning of cells lead to the emergence of most diseases and disorders. Pharmacotherapeutic approach using mineral salts makes it possible to regulate the functional capacity in the cells of the body. The drug is especially effective as a concomitant therapy for various cramps and muscle pain.
Indications
Magnesium phosphoricum is prescribed as maintenance therapy:
- treatment of muscle cramps and spasms;
- muscle pain;
- spasms of the gastrointestinal tract;
- cramps with painful periods;
- myalgia in the neck and shoulder.
Contraindications
The drug in question is contraindicated for use in cases where the patient has severe hypersensitivity (allergy) to the main or one of the auxiliary components.
Due to the content of wheat starch, the drug is contraindicated in patients with wheat allergy. Also, the drug is contraindicated in people with lactose intolerance.
Children
In pediatrics, the drug is used after 1 year.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
This drug is not recommended for pregnant women – only under strict indications, determined by the attending physician.
If it is necessary to take the drug during breastfeeding, lactation is suspended.
Method of administration and dosage
- For children over the age of 12 and adults, the drug is prescribed 1 tablet no more than 6 times a day.
- Children aged 6 to 11 years are prescribed 1 tablet no more than 4 times a day.
- Children aged 1 to 5 years are prescribed 1 tablet no more than 3 times a day. It is recommended to dissolve the tablet in 1 teaspoon of water.
Magnesium phosphoricum should be taken 30 minutes before or after a meal, allowing it to slowly dissolve in the mouth.
Allowed for use in patients with celiac disease.
The use of homeopathic medicines can cause a temporary primary exacerbation of the symptoms of the disease. However, this is not a contraindication to use, but requires a temporary cessation of medication and consultation with a doctor.

The drug is usually well tolerated when used in the recommended doses.
