Ingredients

Active ingredient: Memantine hydrochloride. Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol, titanium dioxide (E171).

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is 5 mg once daily. The dose is then increased by 5 mg each week over a period of 3 weeks, up to a maximum of 20 mg per day.

Indications

Mema (memantine) coated tablets are indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease.

Contraindications

Do not use Mema (memantine) coated tablets if:

• You are allergic to memantine or any other ingredients in the product.
• You have severe renal impairment.

Directions

Take Mema (memantine) coated tablets exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablets whole with water, with or without food.
