Ingredients

Active ingredient: Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is 500 mg twice a day or 850 mg once a day with meals. Dosage may be adjusted based on blood glucose levels.

Indications

Indicated for: Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults and children over 10 years of age.

Contraindications

Do not use if: Hypersensitive to metformin or any component of the product, have severe renal impairment, metabolic acidosis, or diabetic ketoacidosis.

Directions

Administration: Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets.
