Ingredients

Active ingredient: Telmisartan 80 mg per tablet.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is one 80 mg tablet once daily. The dosage can be increased to a maximum of 160 mg once daily if needed.

Indications

Indicated for: Treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure.

Contraindications

Do not use Micardis if you:

• Are allergic to telmisartan or any other ingredients in the product.
• Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
• Have severe liver disease.

Directions

How to take: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
