Scientific Evidence:
Tropicamide, the active ingredient in Midriacil eye drops, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist that works by blocking the parasympathetic nerve impulses. Studies have shown that tropicamide effectively dilates the pupil, allowing for better visualization of the eye’s structures during examinations (Smith, J. et al., 2018).

Midriacil eye drops should be stored at room temperature away from light and moisture. Keep the vial tightly closed when not in use. Consult a healthcare provider before using this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Pharmacological Effects: Tropicamide acts locally on the eye, causing pupillary dilation within 15-30 minutes of administration. This effect lasts for approximately 4-8 hours, aiding in eye examinations and procedures.
Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have demonstrated the safety and efficacy of tropicamide in dilating the pupil without significant adverse effects. Patients have reported minimal discomfort during the dilation process, making it a well-tolerated ophthalmic agent.
