Scientific Evidence
Naphazoline, the active ingredient in Naftizin nasal drops, is a sympathomimetic agent that works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, leading to decreased swelling and congestion
Studies have shown that naphazoline provides rapid relief from nasal congestion with minimal systemic absorption, making it a safe and effective option for managing nasal symptoms

If symptoms persist or worsen after using Naftizin nasal drops, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional

Pharmacological Effects: Naphazoline acts on alpha-adrenergic receptors in the nasal mucosa, leading to vasoconstriction and decreased nasal blood flow. This action helps reduce nasal congestion and improves breathing
Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of naphazoline in providing relief from nasal congestion associated with various conditions. A study published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology showed that naphazoline nasal drops significantly improved nasal airflow and congestion symptoms compared to a placebo
