Pharmacological properties
Nicoflex is a combined drug that has a local vasodilating, warming, as well as distracting, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Contains substances that cause prolonged dilation of superficial vessels at the application site, increase the temperature of the skin, which causes a feeling of warmth.
Ethylnicotinate has a vasodilating effect, which is realized directly through the prostaglandin mechanism.
Capsaicin when applied topically has an analgesic effect due to the inhibition of substance P in peripheral nociceptive C-fibers and A-delta nerve fibers.
Capsaicin or 6-nonenamide, N – [(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl) methyl] -8-methyl, (6E) – is a highly selective agonist of vaniloid receptors type 1 with transient receptor potential (TRPV1). The primary effect of capsaicin is to activate the skin’s TRPV1-releasing nociceptors, which causes a burning sensation and erythema due to the activation of vasoactive neuropeptides.
Hydroxyethyl salicylate affects the structure of the epithelium, which facilitates the absorption of the components of the ointment, has anti-inflammatory effects, reduces muscle tension.
