Scientific Evidence:
Ketoconazole, the active ingredient in Nizoral shampoo, is an antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the growth of fungi on the scalp. Research studies have shown that ketoconazole is effective in treating dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis by reducing the levels of Malassezia yeast on the skin, which are associated with these conditions.
Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of ketoconazole shampoo in improving scalp conditions and reducing symptoms such as itching and flaking. The antifungal properties of ketoconazole make it a valuable treatment option for individuals suffering from scalp conditions caused by fungal overgrowth.

- Nizoral shampoo is for external use only. Avoid ingestion and contact with mucous membranes.
- If symptoms persist or worsen after using Nizoral shampoo, consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.
