Nizoral composition
1 g of shampoo contains 20 mg of ketoconazole;
Excipients: sodium lauryl ether sulfate, disodium monolauryl ether sulfosuccinate, fatty coconut acid diethanolamide, animal laurydimonium hydrolyzed collagen, macrogol 120-methylglucoside dioleate, sodium chlorohydrohydride, chloride, sodium chloride, acid , purified water.

Release form
Nizoral is available as a topical shampoo.
The shampoo is available in 60 ml bottles.

Pharmacological properties
A drug with an effective effect on yeast and dimorphic fungi, dermatophytes and eumycetes. Acts on streptococci and staphylococci.
The active substance is ketoconazole, a derivative of imidazole diaxolan. The drug has a powerful destructive effect of the cell membrane of the structure of the fungus and prevents its reproduction.
Ketoconazole does not allow androgens to be synthesized, is well absorbed and begins to act 2 hours after administration.
The drug, when used internally, is found in blood, plasma and other biological fluids in the form of urine, bile and even saliva.
When applied externally, the drug is not detected in the blood.

Method of administration and dosage
