Pharmacological properties
This drug Normagut belongs to the group of antidiarrheal microbial drugs.
Restores the normal intestinal microflora, producing a pronounced etiopathogenetic antidiarrheal effect.
Passing through the digestive tract, the bacteria Saccharomyces boulardii protects the normal intestinal microflora. Saccharomyces boulardii are genetically resistant to antibiotics, which allows them to be used simultaneously with antibacterial drugs in order to protect the normal microbiocenosis of the digestive tract.
The drug is able to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and fungi that can disrupt the intestinal microbiocenosis. It produces an antitoxic effect due to its ability to produce proteases and break down toxins.
Has an antisecretory effect, reducing the secretion of water and salts, due to the ability to reduce the formation of cAMP in enterocytes.
Strengthens nonspecific immune protection due to increased production of immunoglobulins and secretory components of immunoglobulins. Also has enzymatic activity and trophic effect.
