Clinical trials have shown that diosmin is effective in reducing pain, swelling, and other symptoms associated with hemorrhoids and venous insufficiency. A study published in the Journal of Vascular Research concluded that diosmin supplementation significantly improved symptoms and quality of life in patients with chronic venous insufficiency.
