Pharmacological properties
The drug is an herbal medicine for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome.
The drug has a normalizing effect on the level of sex hormones. The dopaminergic effects of the drug cause a decrease in prolactin production, ie eliminate hyperprolactinemia. Elevated levels of prolactin disrupt the secretion of gonadotropins, which can lead to disturbances in follicular maturation, ovulation and corpus luteum, which further leads to an imbalance between estradiol and progesterone. This imbalance between sex hormones causes menstrual irregularities. Unlike estrogen and other hormones, prolactin also has a direct stimulating effect on proliferative processes in the mammary glands, enhancing the formation of connective tissue and dilating the mammary ducts. Decreased prolactin levels lead to the reversal of pathological processes in the mammary glands and relieves pain. Rhythmic production and normalization of the ratio of gonadotropic hormones contribute to the normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.
