Prestilol is used for arterial hypertension and / or stable coronary artery disease (in the presence of myocardial infarction, history of revascularization).
Description
Prestilol Composition and form of release
Active ingredients: perindopril (10 mg), bisoprolol fumarate (10 mg).
Available in pill form.
Pharmacological properties
This is a combination antihypertensive drug (lowers blood pressure). Contains perindopril and bisoprolol as active substances. Perindopril acts by suppressing the effect of an angiotensin-converting enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of angiotensin-I into angiotensin-II peptide, which has vasoconstrictor activity. Thus, its stimulating effect on the secretion of aldosterone by the adrenal glands is blocked. Bisoprolol is a highly selective (selective) beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. It suppresses the level of renin in the blood, reduces cardiac activity.
