Composition
active ingredients: calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate;
1 tablet contains calcium carbonate 680 mg, heavy magnesium carbonate 80 mg;
Excipients:
- mint flavored tablets: sorbitol (E 420), pregelatinized starch, potato starch, talc, magnesium stearate, light mineral oil, mint flavor, sodium saccharin;
- tablets with orange flavor: sorbitol (E 420), pregelatinized starch, potato starch, talc, magnesium stearate, light mineral oil, orange flavor flavor, sodium saccharin;
- raspberry flavored tablets: sorbitol (E 420), pregelatinized starch, potato starch, talc, magnesium stearate, light mineral oil, raspberry flavor, sodium saccharin.
Dosage form
Chewable tablets with mint or orange or raspberry flavor.
Basic physical and chemical properties:
- mint-flavored tablets: tablets are round, biconvex, white or almost white in color with a taste and smell of mint;
- orange-flavored tablets: tablets are round, biconvex, white or almost white in color with an orange flavor and odor;
- raspberry-flavored tablets: tablets are round, biconvex, white or almost white in color with a taste and smell of raspberries.

Pharmacological properties
RemMax-KV is a combination of two antacids: calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which have a local effect by neutralizing stomach acid, which is independent of systemic absorption. Calcium carbonate has a long and strong neutralizing activity. This effect is enhanced by magnesium carbonate, which also has a powerful neutralizing activity. The total neutralizing capacity of the drug in vitro is 16 mEq H+ (titration to pH 2.5 endpoint).
Indications
RemMax-KV is used to relieve symptoms associated with increased acidity of gastric juice (for example, gastroesophageal reflux, heartburn) and cause indigestion and indigestion.
Contraindications
The drug RemMax-KV is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to it, in case of hypercalcemia, as well as in conditions that lead to hypercalcemia.
This pharmaceutical agent is not used for hypophosphatemia, severe renal failure, as well as for nephrolithiasis, which is caused by the deposition of stones consisting of calcium.
RemMax-KV should not be used in children under fifteen years of age.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Pharmaceutical drug RemMax-KV is allowed to be used during the indicated periods, however, you must first consult with your doctor, and also avoid prolonged use of this drug in high doses.
Method of administration and dosage
This pharmaceutical product is administered orally (inside). The daily dose is usually one or two RemMax-KV chewable tablets for heartburn or pain. For pain, the dose may be increased for a short period up to five tablets / day. The duration of therapy should not exceed ten days.
The patient should receive other medications one to two hours before or after taking RemMax-KV.
Overdose
In case of an overdose of RemMax-KV, due to its prolonged use in high doses, hypercalcemia (increased concentration of calcium in the blood), renal failure, alkalosis (increased blood pH), hypermagnesemia (increased concentration of magnesium in the blood) may develop. Overdose symptoms may include nausea, muscle weakness, vomiting, constipation / diarrhea.
In case of an overdose, it is necessary to stop using this drug, to ensure that the patient receives a sufficient amount of fluid into the body. Further treatment tactics are established by the attending doctor, depending on the specific clinical case.
Side effects
During treatment with RemMax-KV, side effects such as hypersensitivity reactions (including skin rashes, angioedema, urticaria, anaphylaxis), nausea, diarrhea, muscle weakness, vomiting, and abdominal discomfort may occur.
During therapy with RemMax-KV, patients may develop hypermagnesemia, hypercalcemia, and alkalosis.
