Composition
The drug contains 0.8 g of sodium chloride, 0.02 g of potassium chloride, 0.02 g of calcium chloride, 0.02 g of sodium bicarbonate, 0.1 g of glucose as active ingredients per 100 cm³, and water as an auxiliary substance for injections.
Description
Ringer-Locke solution is a drug in the form of a solution for injection. The drug is a colorless transparent sterile liquid.
Pharmacological properties
The solution is isotonic to the blood plasma of animals, regulates the water-salt and acid-base balance in the animal body.
After administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal.
Indications for use
Ringer-Lokka solution is used for animals with dyspepsia and other diseases accompanied by dehydration and intoxication of the body, blood loss, for washing wounds and eyes.
Dosage and administration
Ringer-Lokka solution is used subcutaneously or intravenously in the following doses (in ml per animal):

Doses and terms of application depend on the weight of the animal and the course of the disease.
When administered subcutaneously, the dose of the drug is administered fractionally in different places.

Animal products during and after the application of the Ringer-Locke solution are used without restrictions.
