Ingredients

Active ingredient: Rizatriptan benzoate 10 mg.

Dosage

Adults: The recommended dose is 10 mg taken orally with water. If the migraine headache returns after initial relief, a second dose may be taken at least 2 hours after the first dose. Do not exceed 30 mg in a 24-hour period.

Indications

RizaMigren (rizatriptan) tablets are indicated for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura.

Contraindications

Do not use RizaMigren (rizatriptan) tablets if you:

• Have uncontrolled hypertension
• Have ischemic heart disease
• Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors

Directions

Take one tablet as soon as you feel a migraine headache starting. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
