Sensivit is a medical eye drop that creates a special protective film on the surface of the eye. This film protects the eye from drying out , and also prevents dust and harmful microorganisms from entering the eye.

Description

Sensivit (carmellose) eye drops 10 ml. vial

Composition

1 ml sodium carmellose 3 mg; excipients: vitamin E, vitamin A, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropylbetadex, sodium chloride, polyethylene glycol glycerin hydroxystearate, sodium tetraborate, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, water for injection.

Pharmacological properties

Sensitit (eye drops) is a medical product that has a soothing and moisturizing effect. It stabilizes all three layers of the tear film on the surface of the eye. Scentivit contains sodium salt of carmellose, which, due to its properties, forms a temporary protective film on the surfaces of the cornea and conjunctiva, thus providing the necessary moisturizing effect. Thus, Scentivit stabilizes the watery part of the tears; contains vitamin A, which supports the formation of the inner mucous membrane of the tear film. Together with vitamin E, it improves the nutrition of the cornea and conjunctiva. The substances in the medical device also support the outer (lipid) part of the tear film. Thus, it prevents the surface of the eye from drying out quickly. Strengthening of a thin layer of the tear film on the surface of the eye or its replacement in all three layers occurs in the same way. This greatly enhances the protective effect of tears.
Note
Senstivit (nasal drops) contains sodium carboxymethyl cellulose thickener. Carboxymethylcellulose forms a temporary protective barrier film on the nasal mucosa and acts as a moisturizer. Thus, Sensitit enhances the barrier functions of the nasal mucosa. Vitamin A plays an important role in the structure and function of the nasal epithelium. Topical application of vitamin A leads to the growth of mucosal epithelial cells, can protect against infections and has antioxidant effects.
