It is used: as a means to protect damaged dry nasal mucosa (nose surgery, radiation therapy for the head and throat, nosebleeds, atrophic rhinitis); to reduce the effects of inflammation in the nasal cavity with colds, SARS; in conditions accompanied by irritation of the nasal mucosa, incl. when you feel dry in the nose in rooms with dry air (for example, in office rooms, airplanes) in places of polluted environment by inhalation of foreign particles (dust and smoke); during the spread of colds.

Description

Sezorin (sesamum indicum seed oil) spray 10 ml. vial

Composition

1 ml of spray contains up to 1 ml of sesame oil (Sesamum indicum seed oil); methylparahydroxybenzoate (methylparaben) – 2.0 mg; uniferol U14 – 0.6 mg.

Properties:

  • supports the normal functional state of the mucous membranes of the nose;
  • helps prevent the formation of crusts and microcracks in the nose thanks to the softening effect of sesame oil;
  • exhibits antimicrobial and antioxidant activity due to the substances contained in the product;
  • helps to reduce the manifestations of nasal congestion;
  • eliminates dryness in the nose thanks to its moisturizing properties.

The natural substances of sesame oil have a beneficial effect on the mucous membrane of the nose and naturally take care of your health.

Indications for use:

  • as a means to protect the damaged dry mucous membrane of the nose (nose surgery, radiation therapy of the head and throat, nosebleeds, atrophic rhinitis);
  • to reduce the effects of inflammation in the nasal cavity during colds, SARS;
  • in conditions accompanied by irritation of the nasal mucosa, including when feeling dry in the nose in rooms with dry air (for example, in office spaces, airplanes);
  • in places of polluted environment when inhaling foreign particles (dust and smoke);
  • during the spread of colds.

Method of application and dosage

  • Adults and children over 12 years old – 1-3 spray doses in each nasal passage 3 times a day.
  • Children aged 1 to 12 years – 1 spray dose in each nasal passage 3 times a day.

The best results are observed after continuous use for 10 days or as recommended by the doctor. It should also be used whenever you feel a dry or stuffy nose.

Recommended technique of using Sezorin Sesame Spray:

Before using Sezorin, first clear the nasal passage of secretions by pinching the opposite part of the nose and exhaling sharply. Repeat the manipulation on the other side.
Remove the plastic cap from the dispenser.
When using the spray for the first time or if you have not used it for a long time, perform a test spray in the air by pressing the sprayer.
Insert the tip of the spray into the nasal passage. Hold the bottle vertically and spray 1 to 3 times while inhaling through the nose. Change the direction of the spray so that the oil reaches different parts of the nasal mucosa. Repeat in the other nasal passage.
After use, wipe the tip of the dosing pump and close with a plastic cap.
Sezorin is intended for individual use.

Contraindication

Sezorin should not be used in patients with known sensitivity or allergic reactions to individual components of the product.

Due to lack of experience, it is not recommended for use by children under 1 year of age.

Features of application

Avoid getting Sezorin in the eyes. In case of eye irritation, flush with water for at least 5 minutes.

There are no known risks when using Sezorin Sesame Spray during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding while using Sezorin Sesame Spray, consult your doctor.

Do not use if the packaging is open or damaged.

Overdose

Sesame oil is used as a food ingredient. The amount contained in the vial cannot cause adverse effects.
