Slezavit is recommended as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of water- and fat-soluble vitamins, anthocyanins, biomicroelements, lutein and zeaxanthin: in order to prevent eye fatigue due to prolonged reading, working with a personal computer, wearing contact lenses, long driving, exposure to bright lighting ; for the prevention of violations of adaptation of vision to conditions of insufficient illumination; in order to prevent the growth of age-related changes in the retina; during the period of intensive growth of the child; during the recovery period after ophthalmic operations.

Slezavit (blueberry extract, vitamin C, B1, B2, B6) capsules №30

Composition

The drug Slezavit is produced at the factory in the form of capsules weighing 0.5 g each.
The composition of 1 capsule contains:

  • blueberry extract – 60.0 mg;
  • ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – 60.0 mg;
  • lutein – 10.0 mg, zinc oxide – 10.0 mg;
  • α-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) – 10.0 mg;
  • riboflavin (vitamin B2) – 3.0 mg;
  • pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) – 2.0 mg;
  • thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1) – 1.5 mg;
  • copper sulfate – 1.0 mg;
  • retinol acetate (vitamin A) – 1.0 mg;
  • Zeaxanthin 1.0 mg
  • chromium -50.0 mcg;
  • selenium -25.0 mcg.

Additional components: maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin, iron oxide black and red, titanium dioxide.
Packaging: in a cardboard box 2 blisters of 15 capsules each.

Pharmacological properties

The vitamin-mineral complex Slezavit has an antioxidant effect, helps to reduce the risk of developing many ophthalmic diseases and eye pathologies, improve visual acuity, reduce visual fatigue during critical loads, stimulate moisture and restore the mucous membrane.

Indications for use

The drug Slezavit is used and prescribed as a dietary supplement to the diet, as an additional source of fat- and water-soluble vitamins, biomicroelements, anthocyanins, zeaxanthin and lutein to relieve eye fatigue and prevent eye diseases with the following factors:

  • long work at the computer;
  • irritability and dry eyes;
  • prolonged reading, especially in low light conditions;
  • long-term work in bright light conditions (increased insolation, fluorescent lamps);
  • decreased visual acuity at night;
  • age-related visual acuity disorders;
  • diabetic retinopathy;
  • rehabilitation (recovery) after ophthalmic surgery;
  • to maintain visual acuity when wearing glasses and contact lenses.

Capsules are shown to welders, vehicle drivers, people who subject their eyes to critical loads for a long time, whose professions are associated with small parts of devices, microscopy, etc.

Contraindications

The drug Slezavit is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the drug’s components. Also, capsules are not used in children under 3 years of age.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding period

Pregnancy and lactation is a contraindication for taking the drug Slezavit.

Mode of application

The drug Slezavit is used during meals with a sufficient amount of water.
For adults and children over the age of 3 years, the drug is used in a dose of 1 capsule 1 time per day.
For small children or people who, for some reason, cannot swallow the capsule whole, pour the contents of the capsule into a tablespoon and dilute with a small amount of drinking water.
Further use and the possibility of a second course is determined individually by the doctor for each patient.

Overdose

There is no information on overdose cases.
If you do not exceed the recommended doses indicated in the instructions, overdose is not expected.

Adverse reactions

The use of the drug Slezavit can cause coloration of urine, due to the presence of riboflavin (Vitamin B2) in the composition. If any other adverse reactions occur, you should consult your doctor for a recommendation.
