Scientific Evidence

Xylometazoline hydrochloride is a decongestant that works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. Studies have shown that xylometazoline is effective in providing rapid relief from nasal congestion due to various causes.

Research published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology demonstrated the efficacy of xylometazoline in improving nasal airflow and reducing nasal symptoms in patients with allergic rhinitis compared to placebo.

Additional Information

It is important to follow the recommended dosage and not exceed the stated frequency of use to avoid rebound congestion. Prolonged use of nasal decongestants like xylometazoline can lead to tolerance and worsening of symptoms.

Consult a healthcare professional before using Snup nasal spray if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking other medications to avoid potential drug interactions.
