Consult your healthcare provider before using Sondox if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking other medications.
Pharmacological Effects: Doxylamine succinate works by blocking histamine receptors in the brain, leading to sedation and promoting sleep. It also has anticholinergic properties, contributing to its sedative effects.
Clinical Trials: A randomized controlled trial published in the Journal of Sleep Research compared the efficacy of doxylamine succinate with zolpidem in treating primary insomnia. The study found that both medications were effective in improving sleep parameters, with no significant difference in efficacy between the two drugs.
