Stopmigren (sumatriptan) Coated Tablets 50 mg. №6
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Sumatriptan succinate 50 mg. Inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, triacetin.
Dosage
Adults: Take 1 tablet by mouth with water as soon as migraine symptoms appear. If symptoms return, a second tablet may be taken after 2 hours. Do not exceed 200 mg in a 24-hour period.
Indications
Stopmigren (sumatriptan) Coated Tablets are indicated for the acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura.
Contraindications
Do not use Stopmigren (sumatriptan) Coated Tablets if you:
- Have uncontrolled hypertension
- Have a history of heart disease
- Are taking MAO inhibitors
- Are allergic to sumatriptan
Directions
Take the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. If no relief is felt after the first dose, do not take a second dose without consulting a healthcare provider.
