Sumamed Forte (Azithromycin) Powder for Oral Suspension 200 mg/5 ml. 30 ml. 1200 mg. Vial

Ingredients:

Each 5 ml of the oral suspension contains 200 mg of azithromycin. Other ingredients include sucrose, sodium phosphate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, xanthan gum, cherry flavor, and other inactive components.

Dosage:

The recommended dosage for Sumamed Forte is as follows:

• Children under 45 kg: 10 mg/kg once daily for 3 days
• Adults and children over 45 kg: 500 mg once daily for 3 days

Indications:

Sumamed Forte is indicated for the treatment of: bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue infections, and sexually transmitted diseases caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

Contraindications:

Do not use Sumamed Forte if:

• You are allergic to azithromycin or any other macrolide antibiotics
• You have a history of liver problems
• You are taking ergotamine or dihydroergotamine

Directions:

Shake the suspension well before each use. Measure the prescribed dose using the provided measuring device. Take Sumamed Forte as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not skip doses or stop the medication early.
