Composition

active substances:

10 ml of the drug contains a tincture of a mixture of medicinal plant raw materials (1:10): roots of Lapaznik six-petalled (Filipendula vulgaris Moench) – 0.28 g, roots of fresh parsley (Petroselini radix) – 0.225 g, fresh celery roots (Apiumi radix) – 0 , 17 g, herbs St. John’s wort (Galii herba) – 0.135 g, flaxseed (Linariae herba) – 0.11 g, marigold flowers (Flores Calendulae) – 0.08 g (extractant – ethanol 40%).

Dosage form

Oral drops, solution.

Main physical and chemical properties: clear liquid from light brown to brown with a specific odor.

Sediment formation is allowed during storage.

Pharmacological properties

This drug is part of a group of herbal medicines used in gynecological practice.
The composition of the drug – calendula (marigold), labaznik 6-petal, parsley, celery, butterbur, flaxseed.
Non-hormonal agent, produces a complex action. The effect is caused by its constituent components. Extracts of plants included in the drug have hormone-regulating, antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory, sedative and tonic effect.
The components of the drug are similar to estrogens in their effect. Have the ability to regulate and normalize hormone production. Regulates the menstrual cycle.
Softens the capsule of the ovarian cyst, reduces the tension in it, enhances the growth of normal ovarian tissue, reduces the response of the breast to hormonal changes.
Able to enhance apoptosis, suppress angiogenesis.

Indications

Used to treat:

• menstrual disorders, premenstrual syndrome, algodysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea;
• fibrocystic mastopathy;
• ovarian retention cysts.

Also as a part of complex therapy apply at an endometrial hyperplasia, a uterine fibroids, an endometriosis, a syndrome of polycystic ovaries.

Contraindications

The drug Tazalok drops in question is contraindicated in cases where the patient has a pronounced hypersensitivity (allergy) to the main or to one of the auxiliary components.
It should be borne in mind that the tincture of calendula enhances the action of other anti-inflammatory and choleretic drugs, in particular, drugs based on chamomile and yarrow.
The drug contains ethanol, so it should not be administered orally with a diagnosis of “alcoholism”.
In pediatrics, it is used after reaching 12 years of age.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

This drug is not recommended for use in pregnant women.
If it is necessary to take the drug during breastfeeding, lactation is suspended.

Method of application and dose

The drug Tazalok drops is taken orally.
Dilute 30-40 drops of the drug in ½ glasses of boiled water at room temperature. Take 30 minutes before meals 3 times a day. TazalokTM should be taken for at least 3 months, without a break for menstruation. The daily dose can be divided into 2 doses. If complaints persist after discontinuation, therapy should be continued after consultation with a physician.

Overdose

No overdose was reported.
Theoretically, an overdose can cause alcohol intoxication, because the drug contains ethyl alcohol.
In this case, symptomatic therapy, gastric lavage, diuresis, sorbents are recommended.

Side effects

The use of the drug rarely causes side effects, as it is well tolerated. In some cases, reactions from the immune system may occur in the form of allergic reactions, including redness of the skin, rash, itching, angioneurotic edema.
When taken orally, side effects from the digestive system may occur. In particular, there may be a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, burning in the epigastrium, abdominal pain.
