Bilberry Forte Plus (blueberries, vitamin C, B6, B2, B1) tablets 0.25 g. №100 vial
Composition
For 1 tab. 0.25 g:
- blueberries – 50 mg;
- ascorbic acid – 10 mg;
- rutin – 6 mg;
- zinc oxide – 3 mg;
- vitamin B6 – 0.2 mg;
- vitamin B2 – 0.2 mg;
- vitamin B1 – 0.1 mg;
- excipients.
Dosage form

Indications
Blueberry forte is used for:
- conducting complex therapy of glaucoma, vascular pathology of the eyes, cataracts, myopia;
- increased visual stress;
- carrying out activities aimed at preventing vision loss;
- violation of twilight vision.
The drug is absolutely safe and even with prolonged use in therapeutic doses does not cause any clinically significant symptoms.
Contraindications
The drug Bilberry forte is not prescribed for children under 3 years old, as well as for patients who have previously been found to be intolerant to its components.
The composition of the drug Bilberry forte contains fructose, and this allows it to be used in the treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus.
The drug Bilberry forte does not interact with other medications and can be used in joint therapy with other drugs.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Blueberry forte can be prescribed to women at the stage of pregnancy and lactation, since the composition of the drug does not contain any components dangerous to the fetus and newborn.

Method of administration and dosage
Bilberry forte is intended for oral administration only. Adults who are sick take the drug two tablets two times a day. The tablets should be swallowed whole during or after meals.
Blueberry forte is a drug intended only for long-term use; in order to achieve the maximum pharmacological effect, it is recommended to take the drug for several months. A ten-day break is possible between courses of treatment.
Overdose
Even with the use of the drug Bilberry forte in doses significantly exceeding the therapeutic ones, the patients do not experience symptoms of acute overdose. In rare cases, digestive upset, diarrhea and nausea may occur.
Side effects
In most cases, therapy with Bilberry Forte is not accompanied by the development of any side effects, however, when the drug is taken by patients with hypersensitivity to its components, they may experience various allergic reactions, manifested by itching, skin rashes and hives.
