Composition

active substance:

1 tablet contains antibodies to the brain-specific protein S-100 affinity purified: a mixture of homeopathic dilutions C12, C0 and C50 – 3 mg;

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Dosage form

Tablets.

Main physical and chemical properties: flat-cylindrical tablets, dashed and chamfered, from white to almost white. There is a dash on one flat side and TENOTEN KID on the other flat side.

Pharmacological properties

The specified drug belongs to homeopathic remedies.
The active ingredient exhibits calming, anti-anxiety (anxiolytic) effects. It does not possess unwanted hypnogenic and muscle relaxant activity.
The drug stimulates an increase in the tolerance of psycho-emotional stress, improves learning and memory processes. The active substance has stress-protective, nootropic, antiamnestic, antihypoxic, neuroprotective, antiasthenic, antidepressant effects.
In case of intoxication, hypoxia, after disorders of cerebral circulation, it exhibits a neuroprotective effect, limiting the damaged area. The medicine helps to inhibit the processes of lipid peroxidation.
The drug improves the work of stress-limiting systems, restores the processes of neuronal plasticity.

Indications

The drug Tenoten for children is indicated for neurotic and neurosis-like disorders, accompanied by increased excitement, irritability, anxiety, impaired behavior and attention, autonomic disorders.

Contraindications

The drug in question is contraindicated for use in cases where the patient has severe hypersensitivity (allergy) to the main or one of the auxiliary components.
The drug is contraindicated in patients with the following diseases:

  • congenital galactosemia;
  • glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome;
  • congenital lactase deficiency.

In pediatrics, the drug is used after 3 years.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

This drug is not recommended for pregnant women – only for strict indications determined by the attending physician.
If it is necessary to take the drug during breastfeeding, lactation is suspended.

Method of administration and dosage

A single dose for children from 3 years old – 1-2 tablets. The tablet is kept in the mouth (without chewing, but not swallowing) until it is completely dissolved.
If necessary, the tablet can be dissolved in a small amount (1 tablespoon) of boiled water at room temperature.
Take 1 tablet 1-3 times a day for 1-3 months. If necessary, the course of treatment can be extended up to 6 months or repeated after 1-2 months.
If there is no sustained improvement in the condition within 3-4 weeks from the start of treatment, you should consult a doctor.
The drug Tenoten for children is taken orally. Do not use with food.
Due to the presence of an activating component in the drug, the last dose should be carried out no later than 2 hours before bedtime.

Overdose

In case of accidental overdose, dyspeptic manifestations are possible due to the excipients that make up the drug.

Side effects

The drug is usually well tolerated when used in the recommended doses.
There may be reactions of increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug – nausea, allergic urticaria, edema.
