Tobradex (Tobramycin, Dexamethasone) Eyes Ointment 3.5 g Tube

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Tobramycin and Dexamethasone.

Dosage

Dosage: Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours.

Indications

Indicated for: Treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated and where superficial bacterial ocular infection or risk of bacterial ocular infection exists.

Contraindications

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of this product.

Directions

Directions: Wash hands before use. Tilt your head back, pull the lower eyelid down, and apply a small amount of ointment to the inside of the eyelid.

Scientific Evidence

Tobradex combines the antimicrobial activity of tobramycin with the anti-inflammatory properties of dexamethasone. Studies have shown that this combination is effective in treating ocular inflammation and preventing bacterial infections.

Additional Information

Precautions: Avoid touching the tube tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Do not wear contact lenses while using this ointment.

Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.
