Composition
active substance: tobramycin;
1 ml of solution contains tobramycin 3 mg;
Excipients: boric acid, anhydrous sodium sulfate, benzalkonium chloride solution, sodium chloride, purified water.

Pharmacological properties
The drug Tobrosopt is intended for use in ophthalmology, as an antimicrobial fast-acting antibiotic for topical use. It is active against aerobic gram-positive microorganisms (for example, Bacillus megaterium, Corynebacterium accolens, Corynebacterium pseudodiphtheriticum, Bacillus pumilus), aerobic gram-negative microorganisms (Acinetobacter junii, Klebsiella oxyilca and resistant bacteria, etc.)
Indications for use
The drug Tobrosopt eye drops is used to treat superficial infectious and bacterial diseases of the eyes, such as conjunctivitis, which have caused microorganisms that are sensitive or conditionally sensitive to tobramycin.
Contraindications
The drug Tobrosopt is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the drug in the anamnesis. Also, drops are not used for children under the age of 1 year.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding period
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of Tobrosopt is contraindicated.
Mode of application
The drug Tobrosopt eye drops is intended for topical use only. Ingestion is strictly prohibited.
For adults and children over 1 year old, the drug is used in a dose of 1 drop 2 times a day in the morning and evening for 6-8 days. In severe cases of the disease on the first day of use, instill it 4 times a day, then 1 drop 2 times a day for a week.
When using the drug with other ophthalmic drugs, an interval of 5 minutes should be observed between instillations.
A bottle with eye drops should be used by only one patient, when instilling, avoid touching the tip of the bottle, observing hygiene and sterility as much as possible.
The bottle must be tightly closed after each use. If it has not been used within 4 weeks after opening, its remains should be discarded.
Overdose
No cases of overdose with drops were reported.
If you adhere to the instructions for using the drug and do not exceed the doses indicated in it, there can be no overdose. Overdose symptoms may include punctate keratitis, increased lacrimation, erythema, itching and swelling of the eyelids. If the dose was significantly exceeded when using drops, you should rinse your eyes with warm water.
In case of accidental ingestion of the drug inside in high doses, apply symptomatic treatment.
Adverse reactions
The use of Tobrosopt eye drops can cause a manifestation of a hypersensitivity reaction (irritation, redness, burning, pain, swelling of the eyelids, itching, lacrimation). Also possible: headache, urticaria, madarosis, dermatitis, leukoderma, dry skin, itching, anaphylactic reactions, erythema polymorphism, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and rash.
Ophthalmic disorders when using eye drops can occur in the form of such side effects: a feeling of discomfort in the eyes, corneal abrasion, hyperemia keratitis, deterioration and blurred vision, dry and itchy eyes, conjunctival edema, erythema and edema of the eyelids, eye pain, eye discharge , increased lacrimation of the eyes.
