Composition

active substances: 100 ml of the drug contains: Camphora D2 2 ml, Tabacum D6 10 ml, Veratrum album D6 10 ml, Glonoinum D12 10 ml, Acidum hydrocyanicum D12 10 ml;

excipient: ethanol 43% (w / w);

1 ml of solution contains 25 drops.

Pharmacological properties

The drug increases the tone of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system in patients with vagotonia and restores the disturbed balance of activity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the ANS. In addition, it has a vasoactive effect: it improves blood supply and blood circulation to the brain by restoring the tone of cerebral vessels and normalizing venous outflow. Normalizes low blood pressure. Improves cardiac activity and metabolic processes in the myocardium. Reduces the excitability of the vestibular apparatus. Reduces the frequency and intensity of attacks, autonomic crises, especially vagoinsular nature. Increases resistance to psycho-emotional and physical stress. Improves the adaptive capacity of patients suffering from vestibular or autonomic disorders, hypotension.

Indication

In the complex treatment of vascular dystonia of the hypotensive type, diencephalic syndrome, Meniere’s syndrome. Comprehensive treatment of conditions accompanied by autonomic disorders.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Bronchial asthma or other diseases of the respiratory system associated with hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract, children under 2 years of age due to the content of camphor.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

There are no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Information on any risk to the fetus and child from the use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not yet been registered. The drug is used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the fetus / child.
There are no data on the effect of the drug on reproductive function.

Method of application and dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 drops of the drug in its pure form or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;
children aged 6 to 12 years: 5-7 drops of the drug, diluted in 1 tablespoon of water;
Take 3 times a day 30 minutes before or 1 hour after eating.
At the beginning of treatment, as well as in cases that require rapid relief of symptoms, it is possible to take the drug every half hour to adults and children aged 12 years: 8-10 drops, children aged 6 to 12 years: 3-5 drops, diluted in 1 tablespoon of water, to improve the condition, but not more than 8 times, then take the drug 3 times a day.
To increase the effectiveness, it is recommended to hold the drug in the mouth for some time before swallowing.
Course of treatment: 2-3 months. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

Children

The use of Tongynal oral drops in children under 6 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
Due to the content of camphor, the drug is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.

Overdose

No cases of overdose were reported.

Side effects

In exceptional cases, people with hypersensitivity to any component of the drug may have allergic reactions. The drug can cause laryngospasm in infants and children under 2 years of age.
