Composition

Active substances: 1 g of the drug contains Cyclamen purpurascens D3 0.130 g, Chamaelirium luteum D4 0.130 g, potassium carbonate (Kalium carbonicum) D4 0.115 g, comfrey (Delphinium Staphisagria). datura (Datura stramonium) D10 0.115 g, viburnum (Viburnum opulus) D1 0.140 g, American Xanthoxylum fraxineum D3 0.105 g, St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) D2 0.150 g;

excipients: ethanol 96%, purified water.

The drug contains 44% vol. ethanol 96%.

1 g is equal to 1.06 ml of solution and contains 49 drops.

Dosage form

Oral drops.

Main physical and chemical properties: from orange to brownish transparent solution with a grassy-alcoholic odor and herbaceous, slightly burning taste.

Pharmacological properties

Upelva spag. peca – complex homeopathic remedy that normalizes the menstrual cycle and is used in the treatment of menorrhagias and algomenorrhea.

Indications

The drug Upelva spag. peca is used in the complex treatment of painful menstruation.

Contraindications

Drops are not used in the treatment of women who have previously been established hypersensitivity to any of their components.
One dose of the drug is 20 drops and contains from 160 to 200 mg of alcohol, which does not allow the use of the drug in the therapy of patients suffering from alcohol dependence.
At the beginning of taking the drug, a temporary deterioration is possible. In this case, you must stop taking drops and consult a doctor.
Due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in the composition of the drug, taking drops is not recommended to be combined with the management of potentially dangerous mechanisms or vehicles.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Not intended for use in the therapy of pregnant or lactating women.

Method of administration and dosage

Before using the drug, you should consult your doctor.
Adult women should start taking the drug three days before their period starts. If the doctor has not prescribed an individual treatment regimen, then the drug is taken 20 or 25 drops three to four times a day half an hour before or one hour after a meal. Taking drops is not recommended to be combined with food intake, as this will cause a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.
The course of treatment is 30 days. By the decision of the doctor, the duration of treatment may be increased. If, after seven days of taking the drug, there is no positive trend in the dynamics of the disease, the drug should be discontinued and a specialist should be consulted to clarify the diagnosis.

Overdose

No cases of drug overdose have been registered. Presumably, when taking drops in high doses, patients may develop symptoms of alcohol intoxication, in this case, the patient is prescribed gastric lavage and the intake of sorbent agents.

Side effects

Patients respond well to the administration of the drug, however, some women with hypersensitivity to its components may develop local allergic reactions.
