Ingredients:

Each coated tablet contains 15 mg of rivaroxaban as the active ingredient.

Mechanism of Action:

Rivaroxaban is a direct Factor Xa inhibitor that selectively blocks the active site of Factor Xa, an enzyme crucial for the coagulation cascade. By inhibiting Factor Xa, rivaroxaban prevents the formation of thrombin and subsequent blood clot formation.

Pharmacological Properties:

Rivaroxaban exerts its anticoagulant effects by inhibiting Factor Xa, thereby interfering with the blood coagulation process. It has a predictable pharmacokinetic profile and does not require routine monitoring.

Indications for Use:

Xarelto 15 mg tablets are indicated for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.

Contraindications:
