Ingredients

Active ingredient: Doxazosin mesylate 2 mg.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is 1 mg once daily. The dosage may be increased gradually according to the individual patient’s needs.

Indications

Indicated for: Treatment of hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Contraindications

Do not use Zoxon 2 if:

• You are allergic to doxazosin or any other ingredients in the tablets.
• You have a history of orthostatic hypotension.

Directions

Administration: Take Zoxon 2 tablets orally, once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Scientific Evidence

Studies have shown that doxazosin, the active ingredient in Zoxon 2 tablets, effectively lowers blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and reducing peripheral vascular resistance. It is also known to improve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia by relaxing smooth muscle in the prostate and bladder neck.
