Carizon (Clobetasol) Cream 0.5 mg/1g, 15 g
Carizon is a potent topical corticosteroid cream containing clobetasol propionate, a highly effective corticosteroid. It is used to treat various skin conditions by reducing symptoms of inflammation such as itching, redness, and swelling.
Ingredients
The active ingredient in Carizon is clobetasol propionate. Each gram of Carizon cream contains 0.5 mg of clobetasol propionate.
Dosage
Apply a thin layer of Carizon cream to the affected area twice daily. Treatment should not exceed two consecutive weeks, and the total dosage should not exceed 50 grams per week.
Indications
Carizon cream is indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.
Contraindications
- Carizon cream is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to clobetasol or any other ingredients in the product.
- It is also contraindicated in patients with skin manifestations of tuberculosis, viral infections (e.g., herpes simplex, chickenpox), and rosacea.
Directions
Apply Carizon cream sparingly to the affected area and gently rub in until the cream is absorbed. Wash your hands after applying unless your hands are the area being treated.
