Ingredients:
Latanoprost 0.005% w/v is the active ingredient in Latanox eye drops. It also contains benzalkonium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, and water for injections.
Mechanism of Action:
Pharmacologically, latanoprost works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, thereby reducing intraocular pressure. This mechanism of action helps in preventing optic nerve damage and vision loss associated with glaucoma.
Indications:
