Ingredients

The active ingredient in Cardipril is ramipril. Each capsule contains 2.5 mg of ramipril.

Dosage

The usual starting dose is 2.5 mg once daily. Your doctor may adjust your dose as needed.

Indications

Cardipril is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and heart failure. It is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients at high risk.

Contraindications

• Cardipril is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to ramipril or any other ACE inhibitor.
• It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Patients with severe liver or kidney disease should not take Cardipril.

Directions

Take Cardipril exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or less than instructed. Cardipril can be taken with or without food.
