Additional Information

It is important to inform your healthcare provider about any existing medical conditions or medications before using Clodifen eye drops. Adverse reactions may include eye irritation or allergic reactions. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Pharmacological Effects: Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. This action leads to decreased inflammation and pain at the site of application.

Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have shown that diclofenac eye drops are effective in managing postoperative inflammation and discomfort after cataract surgery. A study by Smith et al. (2018) demonstrated a significant reduction in pain scores and inflammation markers with the use of diclofenac eye drops compared to placebo.
