Scientific Evidence
Studies have shown that the combination of betamethasone and salicylic acid in Dermadrin Ointment provides superior efficacy in treating psoriasis compared to individual components alone.
The pharmacological action of betamethasone involves the suppression of inflammation and immune responses, while salicylic acid helps to exfoliate and soften the skin, enhancing the penetration of betamethasone.
Clinical trials have demonstrated the effectiveness of Dermadrin Ointment in reducing the symptoms of psoriasis, such as scaling, redness, and itching, with a favorable safety profile.
