Scientific Evidence
Studies have shown that topical diclofenac formulations, such as Diclak Lipogel, provide effective pain relief with fewer systemic side effects compared to oral NSAIDs. Research published in the Journal of Pain Research demonstrated the superior efficacy of diclofenac gel in managing osteoarthritis pain.
Additional Information
Diclak Lipogel is well-tolerated when used as directed. However, it may cause skin irritation or rash in some individuals. Avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays on the treated areas. Consult a healthcare professional before using this product if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medications.
Pharmacological Effects: Diclak Lipogel works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation in the body. The gel formulation allows for targeted delivery to the site of pain, providing localized relief.
Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of diclofenac gel in managing various painful conditions, including osteoarthritis and sports injuries. A study published in the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology showed significant pain reduction and improved function in patients with knee osteoarthritis after using diclofenac gel for 12 weeks.
