General properties
MECHANISM OF ACTION of ingredients:
Tea tree oil is a natural extract that is effective in preventing vaginal inflammation, redness and irritation, even in dry mucous membranes.
It has antiseptic and antifungal properties, making it useful for treating conditions such as cystitis and thrush.
PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil – ensures product stability, facilitates mixing of water with oil (acts as a solvent and stabilizer for essential oils), modifies viscosity, restores the natural moisture level of mucous membranes, has a calming effect, exfoliates dead cells, stimulates the process of cell renewal, regulates pH, improves the penetration of other active components into the tissues.
Lecithin is a fat-like organic substance that is a complex of phospholipids. It is, without exaggeration, fuel for the human body, building material for cell membranes. It is indicated for the prevention and as part of the complex therapy of various female diseases: endometriosis, uterine fibroids. Lecithin helps to align the menstrual cycle, relieve inflammation, allergic rashes, and relieves unpleasant symptoms in menopause.
Chlorhexidine digluconate is an antiseptic agent that exhibits bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effects of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Treponema spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas spp., Chlamydia spp., Ureaplasma spp., Etc.), fungi and others.
It acts on bacterial spores only at elevated temperatures.
Remains active (although somewhat reduced) in the presence of blood, pus, various secretions and organic substances.
Alpha-ketoglutaric acid plays an important role in metabolism. It takes part in the Krebs cycle, which is part of the mechanism for generating energy in the cell, in oxidation reactions, including the oxidation of proline to hydroxyproline, which is necessary for the formation of collagen. It blocks the action of amino radicals (ammonia and urea), therefore it has a deodorant and antioxidant effect.
Lactic acid – has a disinfectant, keratolytic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect (as part of the acid mantle of the skin, lactic acid creates an acidic environment that is destructive for many microorganisms).
Beta-glycyretinic acid – obtained from a natural extract of licorice roots, has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, local anti-allergic, anti-edema, regenerating effect, relieves redness. The main purpose is to relieve itching and irritation.
Imidazolidinyl urea is a powerful antimicrobial component that copes well with a wide range of gram “-” and gram “+” bacteria, mold and fungi.
EDTA creates strong chelates with Mg2 + and Ca2 + ions, is used to remove calcium salt deposits, interferes with the stability and integrity of bacterial cell membranes.
PPG-26-Buteth-26 is an alcohol derivative used in cosmetology for its ability to repair dry damaged skin and hair by reducing separation and stimulating elasticity. It is considered primarily an emulsifying agent (consistency stabilizer) with conditioning (nourishing) properties.
PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone, povidone) – E1201 – thickener, stabilizer, clarifier, dispersing agent. They are used as a thickening agent and drug prolonging agent.
