Ectericid Storage
active substances: oxidation products of fish oil (with the content of the sum of carbonyl compounds – not less than 0.0034 g-eq.);
Ectericid Excipients: sodium chloride, purified water.
Ectericid Dosage form
Solution for external use.
Main physical and chemical properties: clear yellow liquid with a specific odor. During storage, the appearance of a light brown precipitate is allowed, which is easily broken by shaking.

The drug has antibacterial activity against pyogenic microflora: Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, Proteus, staphylococci. The drug is low-toxic.

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Method of application and dosage
Ekteritsid® should be used topically in undiluted form as a monotherapy or in combination with other drugs.
Treatment of infected wounds should be carried out by rinsing them with Ekteritsid® followed by application of gauze wipes soaked in the drug. Flushing should be performed 2 times a day until the purulent discharge disappears, then rinsing and dressing should be done once every 3-4 days until complete healing of wounds.
In the treatment of infected burns in an open way Ekteritsid® used with novocaine: to 50 ml of the drug add 10 ml of 0.5% solution of novocaine. Irrigate the wound surface every 6-8 hours. When closed, apply bandages well moistened with the drug 2 times a day with an interval of 6-8 hours on the burn surface. Spray the lower layer of the bandage with ectericide® without removing it. These manipulations should be performed until the complete disappearance of manure.
In case of osteomyelitis after sequestrotomy (sequestrectomy), loosely tampon the wound with gauze napkins well moistened with Ekteritsid®. Bandages should be bandaged every 3-4 days.
Treatment of carbuncles and boils after their opening and evacuation of purulent masses should be carried out by applying to the wound well-moistened gauze wipes. For the first 2-3 days, bandage daily, then every 2-3 days.
