Scientific Evidence
Ketoprofen, the active ingredient in Fastum gel, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. Studies have shown that topical ketoprofen formulations can provide effective pain relief in musculoskeletal conditions without the systemic side effects associated with oral NSAIDs.
Additional Information
Fastum gel is well-tolerated when used as directed. However, common side effects may include skin irritation, itching, or rash at the application site. If you experience any severe skin reactions or signs of an allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Fastum gel offers a targeted approach to pain relief by delivering the active ingredient directly to the site of inflammation. This localized treatment helps minimize systemic exposure, reducing the risk of gastrointestinal issues commonly associated with oral NSAIDs.
Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of Fastum gel in managing pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal conditions, making it a valuable option for individuals seeking relief from localized discomfort.
