FLOTTO COMPOSITION
active ingredients: 1 ml of phenazone 45.5 mg and lidocaine hydrochloride 11.4 mg. Excipients: sodium thiosulfate, ethanol 96%, glycerin, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

practically transparent solution from colorless to slightly brownish-yellow color, practically free from mechanical impurities.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Pharmacological. Combined drug for topical use in otology with pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, due to the synergism of the action of its components. Phenazone is a pyrazolone derivative with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic of the amide group. Pharmacokinetics. Systemic absorption of active ingredients is not expected (in the absence of damage to the tympanic membrane). The action of the drug (reducing the soreness of the tympanic membrane and reducing inflammation) begins 5 minutes after instillation. The pain syndrome almost completely disappears after 15 to 30 minutes.
INDICATIONS
Local symptomatic treatment and pain relief for diseases of the middle ear with an intact tympanic membrane, such as: congestive otitis media in the acute period; edematous viral otitis media (post-influenza) barotraumatic otitis media.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or to amide local anesthetic drugs. Infectious or traumatic injury (perforation) of the tympanic membrane.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Before prescribing the drug, the integrity of the tympanic membrane should be checked. If the tympanic membrane is perforated, the administration of the drug can lead to contact of the drug with the structures of the middle ear, which will lead to adverse reactions in these tissues. It should be borne in mind that the drug can affect the result of the anti-doping test.
