INDICATIONS
As monotherapy or in combination with systemic therapy, for the treatment of primary or secondary infections of the skin and soft tissues caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., And Corynebacterium minutissimum), including: impetigo, folliculitis, paronychia, sycosis in the area of ​​the beard, erythrasma, acne, infected wounds and burns, infected contact dermatitis, infected with eczema-like dermatitis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to fusidic acid or other components of the drug, skin and soft tissue infections that are insensitive to the drug, for example, Pseudomonas aeruginos.

FEATURES OF APPLICATION
Bacterial resistance has been reported with the use of fusidic acid, applied topically, as with all topical antibiotics, prolonged and repeated use of the gel can increase the risk of contact sensitization and the development of resistance to antibiotics.

Apply the drug to the skin around the eyes with caution, avoiding contact with the gel in the eyes, as this can irritate the conjunctiva.

The drug contains methylparaben (E 218), which can cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).

ADVERSE REACTIONS
General disorders and reactions at the site of application: itching, slight burning sensation, tingling sensation, dermatitis, including contact and eczematous, skin rashes, erythema, pain at the site of application, reactions at the site of application.

From the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, including skin irritation, burning sensation, conjunctivitis, periorbital edema, angioedema, urticaria.
