Ingredients

The primary active ingredient in Ketanov is ketorolac tropetamine. Each tablet contains 10 mg of this potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

Dosage

The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 40 mg in a 24-hour period. The dosage may vary depending on the severity of the pain and the patient’s response to the medication.

Indications

Ketanov is indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. It is effective in treating pain from various conditions such as post-operative pain, dental pain, and musculoskeletal pain.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any other ingredient in the product.
• Active peptic ulcer disease or recent gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation.
• Severe renal impairment or risk of renal failure due to volume depletion.
• History of asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.

Directions

Ketanov tablets should be taken orally with a full glass of water, preferably with food to decrease the risk of gastrointestinal side effects. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Swallow them whole.
