Ingredients

The active ingredient in each tablet is ketorolac trometamine, a powerful non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

Dosage

The usual dosage is one tablet (10 mg) every 4-6 hours. However, the dosage may vary depending on the severity of the pain and the patient’s response to the medication.

Indications

Ketanov is indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. It is also used to manage pain after surgery.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any other ingredient in the product.
• Patients with active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, or a history of peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Patients in the late stages of pregnancy.

Directions

Take this medication by mouth, usually every 4-6 hours with a full glass of water (8 ounces/240 milliliters), or as directed by your doctor. Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after taking this drug.
