Ingredients

Active ingredient: Pramipexole 1 mg per tablet.

Dosage

Recommended dosage: The usual starting dose is 0.125 mg taken once daily 2-3 hours before bedtime. The dose may be gradually increased every 5-7 days.

Indications

Miraxol tablets are indicated for the treatment of:

• Restless legs syndrome (RLS)
• Parkinson’s disease

Contraindications

Do not use Miraxol tablets if:

• You are allergic to pramipexole or any other ingredients in the tablets.
• You have severe kidney problems.

Directions

Take Miraxol tablets exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Scientific Evidence

Studies have shown that pramipexole, the active ingredient in Miraxol tablets, is effective in the treatment of restless legs syndrome and Parkinson’s disease. Pramipexole works by stimulating dopamine receptors in the brain, which helps to improve motor symptoms and reduce the urge to move the legs in RLS.

In a randomized controlled trial published in the Journal of Neurology, pramipexole was found to significantly reduce the severity of RLS symptoms compared to a placebo. The study concluded that pramipexole is a safe and effective treatment for RLS.
