Scientific Evidence
Nimesulide, the active ingredient in Nimid Forte tablets, is a selective COX-2 inhibitor with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. Studies have shown that nimesulide provides effective pain relief and reduces inflammation in various conditions. Research published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology supports the efficacy of nimesulide in the management of acute pain.
Additional Information
Nimid Forte tablets should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. If you experience any adverse reactions or side effects, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Pharmacological Effects: Nimesulide works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation. By selectively targeting the COX-2 enzyme, nimesulide reduces inflammation at the site of injury without affecting the COX-1 enzyme responsible for gastric protection.
Clinical Trials: Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of nimesulide in providing rapid and sustained pain relief in patients with osteoarthritis and other inflammatory conditions. A study published in the European Journal of Clinical Pharmacology showed that nimesulide was well-tolerated and effective in reducing pain intensity and improving joint function.
