Ocomistin composition
The composition of 1 ml contains the active ingredient Miramistin 0.1 mg.
Additional components: sodium chloride and water for injection.
Release form
Produced in the form of clear, colorless drops for instillation in the eyes, ears and nose.
A cardboard box contains 1 dropper bottle of 5 ml or 10 ml.

Indications for use
The drug Ocomistin is used and prescribed as part of a comprehensive treatment for chronic and acute conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, keratouveitis caused by gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, fungi, chlamydia, viruses sensitive to the active component miramistin. Also in case of injuries, chemical and thermal burns of the eyes.
Drops are widely used for the prevention of purulent-inflammatory eye lesions in ophthalmic surgery before and after operations, for the complex therapy of chronic and acute otitis externa, otomycosis, chronic purulent mesotympanitis and acute rhinitis.
For the prevention of ophthalmia in newborns, including chlamydial and gonococcal.
Contraindications

Mode of application
Ocomistin drops are instilled in a dose of 1-2 drops 4-6 times a day.
The recommended dose for prophylaxis is 1-2 drops 3 times a day three days before surgery and for two weeks after.
For the prevention of ophthalmia in newborns, 1 drop is instilled 3 times in 2-3 minutes in both eyes. The procedure is carried out immediately after the birth of the child.
Overdose
No cases of drug intoxication were observed.
If the recommended daily doses are observed, there can be no drug overdose.
Adverse reactions
Side effects when using the drug can manifest themselves in the form of allergic reactions. Also, discomfort and burning sensations, which are usually after a short period of time. Storage conditions
