Pharmacological properties
This drug Prilidji belongs to a group of drugs that are used to treat urological diseases, and is used to improve the sexual sphere in men.
The mechanism of its action is due to the qualities of its main active ingredient – dapoxetine.
The specified drug, as well as its main metabolites (chemicals that take part in metabolic processes in the cells of the body) – desmethyldapoxetine and didesmethyldapoxetine, are potent selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.

Indications
The drug Prilidji is used in sexopathology to treat premature ejaculation in men.
This drug is recommended for use in patients who meet the following criteria:

  • insufficient control of the onset of ejaculation;
  • the latent time of intravaginal ejaculation is less than 2 minutes;
  • persistent or repeated ejaculation after minimal sexual stimulation before, during, and immediately after sexual penetration, which occurs earlier than the moment desired for the patient;
  • a pronounced state of stress or difficulties that arose in interpersonal relationships as a result of premature ejaculation.

The age at which safe and effective use of this drug is permissible is from 18 to 64 years.
It is used only to treat patients who have been diagnosed with premature ejaculation. Not intended for men who want to prolong sexual intercourse by delaying the onset of ejaculation.
There is no data on the safety of use in men who have not been diagnosed with premature ejaculation.
Before starting treatment with this drug, men with other forms of sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction, should be examined by a doctor.
The mechanism of action of dapoxetine in premature ejaculation is associated with a delay in the neuronal reuptake of serotonin and further enhancement of the action of neurotransmitters on presynaptic and postsynaptic receptors.

Contraindications
Not applicable if the patient has hypersensitivity (allergy) to one of the components that make up the drug.
It is also contraindicated for use if the patient has:

  • heart failure;

Children
Do not use until the age of 18.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Method of administration and dosage
The drug is taken orally (swallowed whole with a full glass of 200 ml of water).
The time of admission does not depend on the meal.
The recommended starting dosage is 30 mg, which is taken 1-3 hours before intercourse.
Do not start treatment with a dosage of 60 mg. An increase in dosage is made only if there was no effect from taking the drug at a dose of 30 mg, and also if, after taking the minimum dosage, the patient did not observe moderate and severe adverse reactions, or symptoms that may indicate the possible development of loss of consciousness. If such symptoms are not observed, and the effect of taking the minimum dosage is insufficient, then the dosage can be increased to 60 mg per dose (per day).
It is also taken 1-3 hours before the expected time of intercourse.
It should be borne in mind that the frequency and severity of side effects when taking a dosage of 60 mg increases.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible dosage and frequency of taking Prilidji tablets – 1 time per day (24 hours).
If intercourse is not expected on this day, then the pill does not need to be taken.
The clinical need for continued therapy with this drug is assessed by the attending physician after the first four weeks of treatment, or at least after 6 (six) doses taken.
